Anna Caroline Straughan

Anna Caroline Straughan, MSW, has extensive experience in social work, particularly in child welfare and family services. Currently serving as a REACH Research Assistant Intern at MercyFirst, a role held since May 2020, Anna has also worked as a Service Provider at Little Flower Children and Family Services of New York since October 2019. Previous positions include Assistant Guide at Guidepost Montessori and Family Treatment and Rehabilitation Case Planner at The Lower East Side Family Union. Anna's background encompasses case management in various capacities, including Foster Care Case Planner I, Dependency Case Manager for the Human Trafficking Unit at Children's Home Society of Florida, and Guardian ad Litem at the Miami-Dade Guardian ad Litem Program. Anna holds a Master of Social Work from Fordham University and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Social Work at the Fordham University Graduate School of Social Service.
