Emma Valvo Lmsw

Emma Valvo, LMSW, is an experienced psychotherapist currently employed at Little Flower Children and Family Services of New York since April 2023. Prior to this position, Emma served as a psychotherapist at SCO Family of Services from July 2022 to December 2023 and worked as a domestic violence counselor at Barrier Free Living from September 2021 to July 2022. Earlier experience includes serving as a residential domestic violence advocate at Child and Family Services from March 2019 to May 2021 and as a peer educator and social work intern at the University at Buffalo Health Promotion from August 2017 to May 2021. Additionally, Emma volunteered as a hospital advocate with Crisis Services of Erie County from July 2015 to January 2020. Emma Valvo holds a Master's degree in Social Work from the University at Buffalo, earned in May 2021, and a Bachelor's degree in Health and Human Services from the same institution, completed in May 2018.
