Little Friends
Bridgette DiLeo is an experienced occupational therapist currently working at Little Friends, Inc. since August 2022, where services are provided to students in a therapeutic day school setting, focusing on neurodiversity affirming and trauma-informed approaches. Prior experience includes serving as a PRN occupational therapist at Northwestern Medicine Delnor Hospital from September 2022 to October 2023, evaluating patients and crafting therapeutic goals for functional independence. Additional background includes fieldwork at Communication Clubhouse, Inc. and Northwestern Medicine Delnor Hospital, with experience spanning acute care and outpatient pediatrics. Before transitioning to an occupational therapy role, Bridgette served in various capacities at Marklund, including developmental instructor and therapy aide, after earning a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from the University of Illinois Chicago and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Loyola University Chicago.
Little Friends
Little Friends is a private, non-profit organization empowering children, adults and families with autism and other developmental disabilities. Little Friends operates a number of programs including three alternative schools, family support and consultation services, vocational training, community-based residential services and the nationally-recognized Little Friends Center for Autism.
