Akeelah Kuraishi

Akeelah Kuraishi is an accomplished CEO and Co-Founder of Little Global Citizens since November 2017, an organization dedicated to promoting tolerance and global awareness among children by introducing diverse cultures. Akeelah also serves as a Marketing Committee Board Member at the Glazer Children's Museum, engaging families in educational play experiences designed for young children. Additionally, Little Global Citizens is part of Tampa Bay Wave’s TechDiversity accelerator, aimed at supporting early-stage companies. Previous experience includes key roles at BuzzFeed as Vice President for the Central Region, Director positions at Inflection Point Media and Myspace, and an Account Manager role at Univision Online, among others. Akeelah holds a BA in English Literature from the University of Nottingham.
