Matthew Tsinontas

Matthew Tsinontas has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. In their most recent position at Little Journey, they served as a Lead Frontend Developer. Prior to that, they worked at BrightHR as a Delivery Lead / Principal Developer and later as a Principal Front End Developer, where they led product teams, spearheaded architectural improvements, and provided coaching and mentorship.

Before joining BrightHR, Matthew worked as a Senior Engineer at Elephant Healthcare. Matthew also gained experience at Infinity Works, where they served as a Senior Consultant and a Contract Software Engineer, working on various product delivery teams and gaining expertise in technologies such as AWS and Azure Serverless, SSR React, and event-driven architectures.

Matthew's earlier experience includes roles at LADbible Group as a Software Engineer, at Beatroot Music as a Software Developer, and at Cirrus as a Senior Developer, Software Developer, and Junior Developer. During these roles, they worked on maintaining and rebuilding editorial websites, leading the direction of the music platform, and implementing agile methodologies and new functionalities in React, Node.js, and PHP.

Additionally, Matthew's career began with a role as an iGaming Content Writer at Blueclaw Search, where they planned and developed SEO campaigns for clients in the poker, gambling, and betting industries. Matthew also worked briefly as a Charity Campaign Worker at Leeds Metropolitan University.

Throughout their career, Matthew has demonstrated strong technical skills, leadership abilities, and a focus on delivering high-quality software solutions.

Matthew Tsinontas pursued their education from 2009 to 2011 at Parrswood Sixth Form, during which there is no mention of a specific degree or field of study. Following this, they attended Leeds Beckett University from 2011 to 2014, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Computer Forensics.

In addition to their formal education, Matthew Tsinontas also obtained the certification of AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in September 2020.
