David Schultz has extensive experience in human resources management. David began their career at Ateeco, Inc. in 1994, where they served as a Production Worker before progressing to roles such as Quality Assurance Technician, Shift Supervisor, and Training Coordinator. In these positions, they oversaw employee training and development, ensured compliance with regulations and company policies, and managed a team.
In 2013, David joined Michael Foods as a Human Resources Manager, where they provided HR leadership for two business units and four locations. David collaborated with the plant Safety Manager and Operations Manager to implement a Safety Risk Management Program. David also supervised a team of five direct reports and supported a workforce of over 300 employees.
From 2020 to 2021, David worked at Green Thumb Industries (GTI) as a Human Resources Manager. David played a key role in establishing HR functions for a cultivation facility in Danville, PA, and trained new team members. David worked closely with the Regional Director of Operations and corporate HR to develop and improve HR strategies, services, and programs for a growing workforce of 200+ employees.
Currently, David is the Human Resources Manager at Little Leaf Farms, where they are leading HR efforts during a period of rapid expansion. David is supporting the establishment of a second greenhouse and managing a workforce of 160+ employees. David has conducted a comprehensive analysis of hourly wages and job categories to align with the local market.
Throughout their career, David has demonstrated their expertise in HR management, training and development, compliance, and team leadership.
David Schultz attended North Schuylkill Junior Senior High School from 1985 to 1991. David did not obtain a degree nor specialize in any field of study during this time. In terms of additional certifications, David obtained the Training Within Industry Job Instruction Train The Trainer certification from the TWI Institute Headquarters in April 2017. David also received the Kirkpatrick Four Levels™ Evaluation Certification Program - Bronze Level from Kirkpatrick Partners, LLC in December 2011. Furthermore, they obtained the Food Processing Sanitation/Hygiene certification from AIB International, Inc in November 2002. Lastly, David acquired the Human Capital Strategist (HCS) Certification from the Human Capital Institute (HCI) in June 2016.
