Rachel McKenzie, MMHC, CRCR has a diverse and extensive work experience in revenue cycle management and healthcare administration. Rachel is currently serving as the Director of Business Office RCM at Little Leaves Behavioral Services. Prior to this, they worked at Allegheny Health Network as a Revenue Cycle Business Manager, where they supported daily operations and led ad-hoc projects to improve efficiency. Rachel also served as the Vice President of Central Revenue Cycle Operations at Willow Tree Healthcare Group, overseeing revenue cycle effectiveness and optimizing processes. Rachel gained valuable experience at Acadia Healthcare as the Central Billing Office Director, monitoring key metrics and establishing controls for cash collection. Before that, Rachel held a managerial position at Frost-Arnett Company, leading the revenue cycle for multiple healthcare clients and ensuring top-quality service. Rachel started their career at Frost-Arnett Company as a Collector and also worked as a CNA in the Recreation department at NHC.

Rachel McKenzie, MMHC, CRCR, completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Health/Health Care Administration/Management at Vanderbilt University - Owen Graduate School of Management from 2021 to 2022. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Health/Health Care Administration/Management from Purdue University between 2015 and 2018. Rachel also completed an EKG certification program at Meharry Medical College from 2010 to 2011. Rachel'sacademic background includes graduating from Hickman County High School from 2000 to 2003.

In addition to their education, Rachel has obtained several certifications. Rachel is a Certified Revenue Cycle Representative (CRCR) and has received certification in Revenue Capture and Recognition, both from the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA) in June 2021. Rachel also completed the Key Performance Indicators in the Revenue Cycle certification from HFMA in the same month and year. Rachel has further expanded their skills by completing the Transitioning from Individual Contributor to Manager course offered by LinkedIn in December 2018. Rachel was also recognized on the Dean's List for the October 2017 term at Kaplan University.
