Janice Rullan

Janice Rullan is currently a Research Assistant at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, focusing on the genetic manipulation of Cellulophaga Lytica to explore its iridescent properties since July 2023. Additionally, Janice has been a Daycare Teacher at Little People's College, Inc. since December 2017, where responsibilities include fostering children's growth and teaching essential skills. Previous experience includes serving as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at ORAU from September 2022 to May 2023, working in Synthetic Biology and Soldier Materials Science. Janice is pursuing a Master of Science in Biomedical Engineering & Biotechnology at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, expected to graduate in December 2024, and holds a High School Diploma in Engineering Technology from Greater New Bedford Regional Vocational Technical High School.
