Thomas Moriarty

Thomas Moriarty has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Their most recent position was as the Chief Financial Officer at Little Sprouts, LLC, where they were responsible for overseeing the financial operations of a private equity-owned early education company. Prior to that, Thomas worked as an Accounting/Finance Consultant for Software/Non-Profit/Professional Services, where they managed the reorganization of an accounting and finance team for a non-profit organization and audited and cleaned up customer billings for a small SAAS company.

Before that, Thomas served as the Chief Financial Officer at Fast Asset, a company that provided liquidation and reverse logistics services to the high-tech industry. Thomas also held positions at Brazilian Resources, Inc. as the CFO and Treasurer, as well as the Corporate Controller.

Additionally, Thomas worked as a Consultant at CFGI and held the role of Director of Finance at SkillSoft, where they managed the financial operations and reporting of 8 separate business units. Thomas also worked as the Controller/Director of Finance at DoubleBridge Technologies, overseeing various financial functions and closing books for financing purposes.

Earlier in their career, Thomas held the role of Director of Finance at WorldWinner, where they established a month-end 5 business day close and managed budgeting and cash forecasting. Thomas also served as the Controller at WorldCare Technologies, supervising financial statements and monthly financial close processes.

Thomas started their career as a Senior Accountant at Koll Development Company. Throughout their career, Thomas has demonstrated expertise in financial management, team leadership, and process improvement.

Thomas Moriarty attended the University of Massachusetts Lowell from 1989 to 1994, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting with a minor in Economics. Currently, they are a candidate for an MBA degree in Accounting at Southern New Hampshire University.
