Philip Lo's work experience begins in 2004 when they worked as a Financial Analyst at Houlihan Lokey. From 2005 to 2007, they moved on to Deutsche Bank Securities as a Financial Analyst specializing in M&A. In 2007, they joined SAC Capital as an Associate, where they focused on private equity investments in telecom, technology, and technology-enabled businesses. Philip stayed with SAC Capital until 2011 when they became a Managing Director at Siris Capital, a private equity firm specializing in control investments in data/telecommunications, technology, and technology-enabled business service companies. After almost 9 years at Siris Capital, Philip Lo transitioned to GPI Capital in 2020, where they worked as a Partner, overseeing non-control, growth, and structured equity investments in technology, consumer, and industrial companies. Most recently, in 2023, they joined Littlejohn & Co as a Managing Director, focusing on capital formation in private equity investments.

Philip Lo attended Georgetown University McDonough School of Business from 2001 to 2004, where they obtained a BSBA degree with a focus on Finance and International Business. Prior to their time at Georgetown, their educational background is unknown. However, it is known that they attended Ghana International School at some point, although the specific dates, degree, and field of study are not provided.
