Alfred Kwon, DPM, is a skilled podiatrist at Littleton Foot and Ankle Clinic, PLLC, in Littleton, Colorado. A four-year residency-trained podiatrist, Dr. Kwon, treats both non-surgical and surgical conditions of the foot, ankle, and lower leg. He specializes in sports medicine, trauma, and diabetic foot and ankle conditions.
Dr. Kwon graduated from Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine in Kent, Ohio, where he was class vice president. He received his Bachelor of Science from Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio, and Master of Science from Drexel University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Dr. Kwon completed his surgical training as a chief resident at the Level 1 Trauma Center of St. Barnabas Hospital in the Bronx neighborhood of New York City. There, he trained with both podiatrists and orthopedic surgeons, receiving a well-rounded education with an additional focus on trauma and diabetic wound care.
As an athlete himself, Dr. Kwon enjoys involvement in all varieties of sport, most notably, professional dodgeball. In 2018, he was selected as a member of the United States Dodgeball Team and competed with Team USA in the Dodgeball World Cup at Madison Square Garden in New York City. Dr. Kwon now serves as a team physician for the same team and stays active both in sports and in the most cutting-edge treatments in sports medicine.
In addition to dodgeball and martial arts, Dr. Kwon enjoys backpacking, running, rock climbing, and skiing. Dr. Kwon is an associate member of the American Podiatric Medical Association and is certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine. He looks forward to welcoming new and returning patients to the Littleton Foot and Ankle Clinic.
