David J. Hirsch M.D., Mph, Facep, Faems

David J. Hirsch, MD, MPH, FACEP, FAEMS has a diverse work experience in the medical field. David J. currently holds the positions of EMS Medical Director and Associate ED Medical Director at Littleton Regional Healthcare since October 2018. In addition to this, they are also the Operational Medical Director for the New Hampshire State Police-SWAT since October 2019.

In the past, Dr. Hirsch has served as the Chief Medical Officer at SEI- Green Feet Enterprises since 2015. David J. has also worked as an Instructor at CONTOMS since April 2017 and as a Deputy Sheriff at the Merrimack County Sheriff's Office since September 2017.

Furthermore, Dr. Hirsch has experience as a Medic Team Leader at the Central New Hampshire Special Operations Unit since March 2011 and as a Medical Officer for the National Disaster Medical System since September 2009.

Lastly, they have worked at Concord Emergency Medical Associates as an Emergency Physician and EMS Medical Director from July 2010 to September 2018.

Dr. David J. Hirsch, MD, MPH, FACEP, FAEMS has an extensive education history. In 1996, they started their academic journey at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Biology and minors in Sociology and Criminal Justice. After completing their undergraduate studies in 2000, they went on to attend UMass Chan Medical School, where they earned their Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree in 2005.

Dr. Hirsch proceeded to specialize in Emergency Medicine, completing their residency at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine from 2005 to 2008. During their residency, they served as a Chief Resident, demonstrating their leadership skills and dedication to their field.

Desiring to further their knowledge and impact in the field of public health, Dr. Hirsch pursued a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree in Health Policy and Management from the Boston University School of Public Health. David J. successfully completed this program in 2010.

Additionally, in 2008, Dr. Hirsch dedicated time to immerse himself in the Emergency Medical Services field as an EMS Fellow at Boston Emergency Medical Services - Boston Medical Center. This experience would have provided him with specialized training and practical exposure to emergency medical services.
