Joe Hayes has extensive work experience in the education sector. Joe served as a Principal at Littleton Public Schools from July 2018 to present. Before that, they worked as a Principal at Sheridan School District from July 2014 to June 2018. Prior to being a Principal, Joe served as an Assistant Principal at Alice Terry Elementary in the Sheridan School District from May 2013 to June 2014. Joe began their career in 2004 at Sheridan School District as a Language Arts Teacher and Instructional Coach, where they worked for eight years until May 2012.
Joe Hayes completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Language and Literature at the University of Colorado Boulder from 1997 to 2001. From 2004 to 2007, they pursued a Master's Degree in Education with a focus on Teaching License and Curriculum & Instruction Development at the University of Colorado Denver. In 2011 and 2012, Joe obtained a Principal Licensure/Title D degree in Educational Leadership and Administration, General from the University of Phoenix. In addition, they hold a certification in Principal Licensure.
