Asger Anker Elnegaard has been working in the data science field since 2012. Asger began their career as an IT- and administrationsconsultant at Red Barnet Ungdom in 2012. In 2014, they became a Student Assistent at Wind Assessment for DONG Energy, where they assisted in developing optimization tools for creating the layouts of offshore wind farm. In 2015, they continued to work for DONG Energy as a Student Assistant at Measurements. In 2017, they joined IBM as a Consultant (data scientist) - Client Innovation Center Denmark, where they were responsible for defining and discovering best practice for their team of data scientists in regard to their delivery of projects. In 2019, they moved to Pandora as a Data Scientist. Currently, they are the Head of Data, Analytics and AI and Data Science Lead at Liva Healthcare.
Asger Anker Elnegaard began their education in 1996, attending Lyshøjskolen. In 2006, they moved to the United States and attended Ross S. Sterling High School for one year. In 2007, they returned to Denmark and attended Kolding Gymnasium, graduating with a STX in 2010. Asger then attended DTU - Technical University of Denmark from 2011 to 2014, earning a Bachelor of Science in Engineering (B.Sc.Eng) in Mathematics and Technology. In 2015, they attended the National University of Singapore for a year, studying Applied Mathematics. Asger then returned to DTU - Technical University of Denmark, graduating in 2016 with a Master of Science in Engineering (M.Sc.Eng) in Mathematical Modelling and Computing.
