Kathryn Nichol has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry spanning over several positions. Kathryn is currently a Board Member at eMedEvents, a global Continuing Medical Education (CME) marketplace and healthcare networking hub. Prior to this role, they served as the Vice President of Medical and Clinical Affairs at LivaNova in the Neuromodulation division. Kathryn also co-founded Morningwood LLC in 2018. Earlier in their career, they held positions at companies such as Greenwich Biosciences, Upsher-Smith Laboratories, Lundbeck, Sunovion Pharmaceuticals, The Medical Affairs Company, and the Institute for Brain Aging & Dementia, where they gained experience in various roles in medical affairs, medical science liaison, and clinical research. Kathryn's expertise and leadership have focused primarily on epilepsy, rare epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, and Alzheimer's disease.

Prior to that, they received an M.S. in Neurobiology & Behavior from UC Irvine from 1997 to 1999. Kathryn also earned a B.S. cum laude in Biology and Psychology from Georgia Southern University from 1993 to 1997. Kathryn Nichol completed an Executive MBA at Quantic School of Business and Technology from 2020 to 2021.
