Liz Fortier

Liz Fortier is an accomplished legal and privacy professional with extensive experience in data governance and ethics. Currently serving as Chief Privacy & Data Governance Officer and VP, Privacy Officer at LivaNova since August 2019, Liz has held multiple senior roles in data privacy and legal services throughout a career spanning over two decades. Previous positions include General Counsel, Corporate Secretary, and Data Protection Officer at Lucid, LLC, and roles at Code42, Syncada LLC, and HighJump Software, where Liz contributed to legal strategy and governance. Liz holds a JD from William Mitchell College of Law and a BA in Management and Psychology from the College of Saint Benedict.
