Matt then worked as a Visiting Professor at the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law, specializing in patent law. Following this, they joined Zimmer Biomet as a Senior Patent Counsel, where they managed global IP and provided strategic direction for the medical products divisions. Matt also worked closely with various departments on IP and non-IP projects. Matt later joined Schwegman Lundberg & Woessner, P.A. as a Senior Attorney, focusing on IP matters. Matt then moved on to Corning Incorporated as an Intellectual Property Counsel, before taking up their current role as VP, Legal North America & Chief IP Counsel at LivaNova.
