Phillip Labar

Phillip LaBar is an experienced software development manager with a strong background in medical device innovation at LivaNova since June 2019, focusing on Vagus Nerve Stimulation Therapy. Prior to this role, Phillip served as principal software engineer at Eaton from November 2006 to June 2019, where leadership in developing the EATON Proview NXG Interface Software impacted over 10,000 users across multiple product lines. Earlier experience includes a position as senior software engineer at GE Healthcare from 2003 to 2006, where responsibilities included developing medical software for monitoring fetal biometric signs. Phillip holds a Master of Science in Computer and Information Systems and an MBA from the University of Wisconsin-Parkside, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology Management from the Illinois Institute of Technology.
