Wolney Mendes

Wolney Mendes has over 30 years of work experience in various roles in the software and technology industry. Wolney is currently working at LivaNova as a Principal Software Engineer since March 2022. Prior to this, they worked at B95 Company as a Software Architect from January 2020 to December 2021. Before that, at Siemens Healthineers, they held the position of Software Architect from January 2019 to November 2019. Wolney has also served as the CTO at Waave Inc. from March 2017 to November 2018. Wolney has experience as a CTO at MemoryMD from August 2015 to March 2017, where they led hardware and software development for an EEG device. Wolney was also the CTO at BrainBit from August 2015 to March 2017, where they oversaw hardware development and the development of an SDK for an EEG device. Prior to these roles, Wolney worked as a Senior software engineer - Team Lead and Scrum Master at 4D Security Solutions, Inc. from March 2009 to July 2015. Wolney also served as the CTO at WeGuardYou from March 2000 to January 2008, where they were responsible for the development of comprehensive data monitoring and security systems. Wolney's early career includes working as a Partner Director at GSD from January 1990 to January 2003 and as a Software Analyst at Itautec from January 1988 to December 1990.

Wolney Mendes attended USP - Universidade de São Paulo from 1982 to 1987, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and Computer Science.
