Greg Drake

Greg Drake has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Greg recently worked as a DevOps Engineer at Livanta LLC since April 2022. Prior to that, they were a Certified Personal Trainer at Mad Mallard Personal Training LLC starting in January 2021. Greg also has experience as the Owner and Founder of Mad Mallard Solutions since December 2008.

In terms of their technical career, Greg worked as a Systems Design Specialist at Penn State University from July 2020 to April 2022. Greg also held various roles at Corning Incorporated, including HPC Systems Admin, HPC Operations Manager, HPC Scientific Computing System Admin, and Quality Analyst from 2013 to 2020.

Greg's earliest work experience was with the United States Air Force, where they worked as a Manager of Network Administration from June 1992 to December 2005. In this role, they oversaw the base network and led various infrastructure and software projects.

Greg obtained a Masters of Science degree in Business Intelligence from American Sentinel College in the years 2011 to 2013. Prior to that, they earned another Masters of Science degree in Information Systems from the same institution from 2007 to 2010. Before pursuing their graduate studies, Greg completed their undergraduate education at the University of Maryland Global Campus from 1996 to 2005, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Management Information Systems. In addition, they obtained an Associates degree in Information Systems from the Community College of the Air Force from 1992 to 1998. Greg's education journey began at Spencer-Van Etten High School, where they obtained their Diploma in 1991.

Alongside their formal education, Greg Drake also holds an additional certification as an AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services, which they obtained in April 2023.
