Auni Gelles

Auni Gelles currently serves as a Program Manager at Live Baltimore, beginning in January 2024. Previously, Gelles held the position of Community Programs Manager at the Baltimore Museum of Industry from May 2017 to December 2023, focusing on public program development and community relations. Gelles has also worked as the Assistant Director at the Heart of the Civil War Heritage Area and contributed as a Heritage Area Assistant, gaining extensive experience in grants administration and outreach in Maryland's heritage tourism sector. Additional roles include a Blogging Assistant internship at the National Museum of American History and a Graduate Assistant position at the University of Maryland Baltimore County. Auni Gelles holds a Master of Arts in Historical Studies from the University of Maryland Baltimore County and a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology and Sociology from Goucher College.
