Asaf Peleg

Asaf Peleg began their work experience in 2006 at Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide as a Production Support and Software Developer. Asaf was responsible for maintaining a high volume production environment and developed a lightweight web front end for database comparison and synchronization. Asaf then joined Locus Energy in 2009 as a Senior Software Developer and QA Technical Lead, where they worked until 2017. At Locus Energy, they held a leadership role and was responsible for software development and quality assurance.

In 2017, Asaf joined SoFi as a Senior Java Developer and worked there for a brief period before transitioning to ShopRunner later that year. At ShopRunner, they held multiple roles, including Senior Software Engineer in CloudOps, Lead Engineer in CloudOps, Lead Engineer in Payments, and Principal Engineer. Asaf worked at ShopRunner until 2021.

In 2021, Asaf joined Gopuff as a Lead Software Engineer and worked there until 2022. Asaf was responsible for leading software engineering projects.

Currently, Asaf is working at Kindred as a Founding Engineer, a position they started in 2022.

Asaf Peleg obtained their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Economics from the University of Maryland, completing their education from 2002 to 2006.
