Justine Palefsky

Justine Palefsky is a Co-Founder at Kindred. Justine has also worked as Head of Visit Experience at Opendoor, and as an Associate Consultant at Bain & Company.

Justine has always been passionate about technology and its potential to improve people's lives. Justine was drawn to Opendoor's mission to make buying and selling a home simple and stress-free. As Head of Visit Experience, they were responsible for Opendoor's Self-Tour experience, which enabled home shoppers to physically enter and tour listed homes on their own using an app to remotely unlock the door. Justine led service design of online/offline touch points, in-home branding, and maintenance/cleaning operations. Justine scaled the experience to supporting nearly 200,000 Self-Tours per month across 20+ markets with extraordinary NPS.

Before their work at Opendoor, Justine was an Associate Consultant at Bain & Company with experience in Bain's private equity, technology, and education practices. Justine started their career at Bain as an intern in 2012 and was quickly promoted to Associate Consultant. Justine's experience at Bain gave their the skillset and confidence to start their own company, Kindred.

At Kindred, Justine is using their passion for technology to make the homebuying process more transparent and efficient. Justine is excited to continue making a positive impact on the industry and helping people simplify one of the biggest transactions of their lives.

Justine Palefsky completed their ScB in Cognitive Neuroscience from Brown University. Justine then attended the Urban School of San Francisco.
