Siggi Jónsson

Siggi Jónsson has a diverse work experience spanning over multiple roles and companies. Siggi started their career at Hugsandi Menn as a Web Developer from September 2006 to December 2009. After that, they worked at Gogogic as a Game Developer from June 2010 to October 2012, and then as a Technical Director from October 2012 to September 2013. Siggi then joined TM Software as a Software Developer from September 2013 to January 2014.

In 2014, Siggi moved to QuizUp and worked as an Android Developer from January 2014 to January 2016, before being promoted to Lead Android Developer from January 2016 to January 2017. Siggi then transitioned to Tinder and held various roles. Siggi worked as a Senior Android Developer from January 2017 to July 2018 and later became a Staff Software Engineer, Android from July 2018 to January 2022. Their last role at Tinder was as a Principal Software Engineer, Android from January 2022 to June 2023.

Currently, Siggi is working at Kindred since May 2023 as an Engineer.

Siggi Jónsson received a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Computer Science from Háskóli Íslands from 2007 to 2010. Prior to that, from 2002 to 2006, Siggi attended the Commercial College of Iceland where they studied Mathematics. In addition to their formal education, Siggi obtained a certification in Functional Programming Principles in Scala from Coursera in November 2012.
