Shawn Gee

Shawn Gee is a seasoned entertainment executive with extensive experience in live music management. As the Founder and President of Live Nation Urban since July 2017, Shawn Gee has spearheaded initiatives to enhance live platforms in Hip Hop, R&B, and Gospel music within a joint venture with Live Nation Entertainment. Prior to this role, Shawn Gee was a Partner at Maverick Management from October 2014 to January 2023, where responsibilities included serving as the lead manager for renowned artists such as The Roots and Jill Scott. Shawn Gee holds an MBA from The George Washington University School of Business and a BBA in Accounting and Finance from Millersville University of Pennsylvania.
