Lorie Nichols

Lorie Nichols is a seasoned accounting professional with extensive experience in property management and corporate finance. Currently serving as a Sr. Accounting Specialist at Live Oak Gottesman since January 2017, Lorie provides part-time support in accounting functions, financial reporting, and payroll administration. Prior to this role, Lorie held the position of Director of Property Accounting at American Campus Communities, overseeing financials for multiple properties and supervising a team of project accountants. Lorie's tenure at Live Oak-Gottesman from 2005 to 2015 included positions as Manager of Technology & Corporate Reporting and Controller, where responsibilities encompassed comprehensive accounting tasks and team expansion to support business growth. Earlier career experience includes serving as Controller at Texas Capital Partners and HR Director/Accountant at HBK Investments. Lorie holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Abilene Christian University.
