Kris Hill currently serves as a Resource Specialist at Live Oak School District since August 2017, working at Shoreline Middle School. With a diverse background in education, Kris has held positions such as Apple Distinguished Educator at Apple Computer, Inc. since 2003, Technology Coordinator and Science Teacher at Chartwell School from August 2006 to August 2019, and Teacher at Shoreline Middle School from 2001 to 2006, focusing on Special Day Classes. Prior experience includes roles as Chief Instructor at Pacific Crest Outward Bound (1996-2001), Outdoor Science Teacher at YMCA Camp Campbell (2000-2001), History and English Teacher at NAWA Academy (1999-2000), and 7th Grade Teacher at Excelsior Academy (1996-1998). Kris Hill earned a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of California, Davis from 1988 to 1993, a Master of Arts in Education from CSUMB from 2009 to 2010, and is currently pursuing an Associate Membership with the Orton-Gillingham Academy as of March 2023.
