Adam Hicks

Adam Hicks is an experienced educator and communications professional with a diverse background in teaching and media relations. Currently serving as the Director of Communications at Live Oak School since August 2022, Adam previously held positions as an English Teacher in various school districts, including Sonoma Valley Unified School District and San Rafael City School District. Adam has also worked as a Sports Information Director at the University of San Francisco and Media Relations Coordinator at the University of San Diego. Educated at Saint Mary's College of California with a Bachelor of Arts in English and Arizona State University with a Master's in Education focused on Curriculum and Instruction for Secondary Education, Adam brings a strong foundation in both teaching and communication.
