Shannon Gomez is a dedicated educator currently serving as a 2nd Grade Teacher at Live Oak School since July 2019. Prior experience includes roles such as STEAM Enrichment Teacher and Team Lead at Grattan After School Program, as well as a Policy and Advocacy Fellow at Leadership for Educational Equity. Additionally, Shannon has worked as a Guest Teacher through the Charter Substitute Teacher Network and as an Account Development Representative at Trustpilot. Shannon's teaching journey began at Ricardo Flores Magon Academy, following participation in Teach For America. Educational qualifications consist of a Master’s Degree in Education-Critical Pedagogy from the University of Colorado Denver and a Bachelor’s Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of California, Berkeley.
