Tanya Susoev

Tanya Susoev is an accomplished educator with extensive experience in leadership roles across various academic institutions. Currently serving as the Middle School Head at Live Oak School since July 2022, Tanya has previously held positions such as Associate Principal of Mission and Innovation at Bishop O'Dowd High School, where responsibility included mission alignment and academic program supervision. Tanya has a strong background in teaching and curriculum development, having worked as a Religious Studies Teacher, DEI Consultant, and Learning Team Lead at Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory, and as an English Teacher at multiple high schools. With a focus on diversity, equity, and inclusion, Tanya has designed professional development programs, collaborated on anti-racist curricula, and fostered community partnerships through service-learning initiatives. Tanya's educational credentials include an Ed.D. in Educational Leadership and Administration with a focus on Equity and Inclusion from Mills College, among other advanced degrees and credentials.
