Sara Sheehy is an accomplished marketing and storytelling professional with extensive experience in both nonprofit and for-profit sectors. Currently serving as the Director of Storytelling and Lead Adventurist at Live Wildly Foundation and as a Marketing Manager at Dynamic Planet, Sara has also held the position of Social Media Manager for Pristine Seas at the National Geographic Society. Additionally, Sara operates as a Marketing Communications Consultant at Bighorn Writing, LLC, focusing on story-driven marketing strategies. A seasoned freelance writer since 2010, Sara specializes in travel, conservation, and arts & culture. Previous roles include various positions at The Nature Conservancy and as Regional Trail Coordinator for the Appalachian Mountain Club. Sara holds a Bachelor of Science in Resource Economics from the University of New Hampshire.

The Live Wildly Foundation was created to help raise awareness of the benefits of wildlife corridors, inspire more people to get out into these great spaces, and to expedite bridge-building and collaboration among the science, conservation, policy and business communities. Our first priority - the Florida Wildlife Corridor. This 18-million-acre wildlife superhighway is a model for public-private partnership, citizen advocacy and grassroots support.
