David Izumo

David Izumo has a comprehensive work history in the field of network management software and engineering. David started their career as a Software Engineer/Unix Systems Administrator at Avant! Corporation in 1999, where they implemented revision control systems and release management processes. Their next role was as a Product Support Engineer at Spirent Communications, where they focused on network performance testing and collaborated with product development teams. David then became the Network Lab Manager at Spirent, responsible for managing the engineering lab and infrastructure. In 2009, Izumo joined Referentia Systems, Inc. as a Sr. Systems Engineer. David worked there until 2013, when they joined LiveAction - Network Management Software. At LiveAction, Izumo initially served as a Sr. Technical Marketing Engineer and later as a Principal Engineer, Technical Marketing. In these roles, they played a key role in developing the company's software and providing expertise in QoS, performance analysis, and policy management for voice and video over IP.

David Izumo has a Bachelor of Science degree in Information and Computer Sciences from the University of Hawaii at Manoa. In addition to their degree, they also obtained a certification in PMC Level I from Pragmatic Institute in December 2022.
