Ron Groulx

Ron Groulx has extensive experience in the field of network performance management and sales engineering. Ron began their career as a Sales Representative at Radio Shack in 1994 before moving on to roles such as Network Administrator at Unilever Bestfoods and Systems Engineer at Fluke Networks. At Fluke Networks, Ron held various positions, including Systems Engineer and Sales Development, and Product Manager - Canada. Ron then joined Empowered Networks as a Wireless Solutions Specialist, where they focused on designing and implementing enterprise network solutions. Ron later worked at Riverbed Technology as a Systems Engineer, primarily specializing in performance management solutions. Ron then joined Corvil as a Sales Engineer, responsible for the Canadian and Northern US markets. Currently, Ron is working as a Systems Engineer at LiveAction, specializing in network performance management.

Ron Groulx has a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Sheridan College, which they obtained from 1996 to 2000. Prior to that, they attended Niagara College from 1995 to 1996, although the degree obtained is unknown. Ron also has a High School Diploma from Notre Dame Highschool Welland, which they received from 1989 to 1993.

In terms of certifications, Ron has obtained several throughout their career. In August 2021, they completed the course "Learning Cloud Computing: Networking" from LinkedIn. In July 2016, they became a "Corvil Certified Administrator" through Corvil, and they obtained the same certification again in the same month and year. In August 2005, Ron obtained a certification in "Distributed Network Analysis" from Fluke Networks. Ron also completed a course on "Value-Added Selling" from Danaher Corporation in December 2003. Additionally, Ron became a "Certified Network Systems Engineer" through Fluke Networks in June 2001 and received the "CWNA" certification from CWNP in April 2002.

It is worth noting that Ron is scheduled to obtain the "AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner" certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in December 2022.
