Andreas Björkman

Andreas Björkman has extensive work experience in the technology industry. Andreas is currently serving as the CTO & Co-Founder at LiveArena Technologies AB since 2021. Prior to this, they worked at LiveArena as the CTO from 2015 to 2021, where they managed development teams and partners in building the LiveArena Broadcast SaaS platform and the automated AI video production, focusing on scalability, performance, cloud platform, AI, and architecture governance.

Before joining LiveArena, Andreas worked at MPS Broadband AB as the CTO from 2013 to 2015. In this role, they were responsible for building and maintaining the Cloud Platform and managed a team of 15 people. Andreas also worked as the Team Lead Development from 2011 to 2013, where they led the daily work using scrum and prioritized work items. Prior to that, they served as a Systems Architect from 2008 to 2013, and as a Systems Developer from 2004 to 2011, developing the MPS Video Publishing Platform primarily using .NET and C#.

Andreas started their career as a Software Developer at Tunity AB from 2004 to 2005, where they worked on marketing solutions using Visual Studio and C#. Before that, they worked as a Software Developer at Aldata Solution AB from 2001 to 2004, focusing on building retail systems with components for point-of-sale, pricing, inventory management, and invoicing.

Andreas Björkman obtained a BSc degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Gävle from 1998 to 2001. Additionally, they pursued further education in the field of IT Architecture, earning a Certified IT Architect degree from Dataföreningen Kompetens in 2010 and 2011. In October 2018, Andreas also obtained a certification as a New Relic Certified Performance Pro from New Relic University.
