Angus Dorrington

Angus Dorrington has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Angus currently holds the position of Technical Project Lead at LiveArena Technologies AB, a role they started in November 2021. Prior to this, they were the Customer Success Team Leader at the same company from August 2021 to February 2023.

Before joining LiveArena Technologies AB, Angus worked at Scandic Hotels as an Operations Manager/Hotel Manager from September 2018 to May 2020. In this role, they led a team of 6 department managers and a group of 35-100 employees, overseeing all the departments and ensuring the achievement of department goals. Angus was also responsible for the development of the business and served as a role model for Scandic's values and leadership competencies.

Angus also has experience in the transportation industry, having worked at Airport Transfers Sweden AB. Angus served as the Managing Owner from March 2013 to June 2019 and later took on the role of Chauffeur from October 2014 to August 2018.

In addition, Angus has worked in various positions at BEST WESTERN Grand Hotel Elektra. Angus was the Housekeeping Manager from November 2011 to December 2014, the Sales Manager from April 2011 to December 2014, and a Receptionist from May 2010 to November 2011.

Earlier in their career, Angus worked as a Front Office Clerk at Hyatt Regency Perth from July 2007 to January 2008, a Food & Beverage Attendant and Host at Grand Hyatt Melbourne from August 2006 to January 2007, and a Food & Beverage Attendant at Hyatt Regency Coolum from August 2005 to January 2006.

Angus Dorrington completed their Bachelor's degree in Commerce (Hospitality & Tourism) from the University of New England (AU) during the period of 2006-2009.
