John Atkinson

John Atkinson has an extensive work experience spanning over two decades. In 2022, they began working as the Chief Product Officer at LiveEO. Prior to that, they were the Global VP of Partnerships at Planet from 2019 to 2021. From 2017 to 2019, they were the VP, Strategic Alliances and Channels at WhiteHat Security. From 2016 to 2017, they were the Sales Director, West at PowWow Mobile. From 2014 to 2016, they held two roles at Sumo Logic, Director, North America Channel Sales and Technical Director, Strategic Alliances. From 2008 to 2014, they worked at BMC Software as Advisory Consultant, Strategic Accounts Practice Lead, Manager, Pre-Sales Consulting, Northwest US and Software Consultant - Service Automation. In 2007, they worked as an Independent Technology Consultant. John also worked at Motorola, Inc. as a Data Center and Operations Architect from 2007 to 2008 and at Amgen, Inc. (Formerly Abgenix) as Associate Director, IT Operations from 2001 to 2007. In 2000, they worked at Robert Half Technologies as an IT Management Consultant.

John Atkinson attended the University of California, Davis, where they earned a BA in Political Science and Public Service. John then attended the New York Institute of Technology, where they earned an MBA in Technology Strategy from 2006 to 2008.
