Skylar J. is a seasoned professional with a diverse background in entrepreneurship, leadership, and innovation. As the Co-Founder of LiveLikeSam.org since January 2017, Skylar has dedicated efforts to honor the legacy of Sam Jackenthal by fostering self-awareness and leadership in youth. Skylar's experience includes a Senior Specialist role in Talent Acquisition at Force Factor, participation in an intensive Leadership Development Program, and an Innovation Internship at CSAA Insurance Group, where recognition was received for contributions to corporate initiatives. Additionally, Skylar founded Skye's Dyes during the pandemic, successfully launching a clothing line, and served as a Campus Ambassador for BeReal. Other roles include a Marketing Intern at Amp Human and an Independent Sales Representative at Vector Marketing. Notably, Skylar was involved in service projects through the Interact Club and received accolades, including the Babo Award for "Best Pitch" in a Babson College entrepreneurship program. Live Like Sam is a nonprofit organization created to help young athletes through character-building programs, needs- and merit-based scholarship opportunities, and bullying prevention education. Created in honor of the late internationally-ranked freeskier and competitive inline rollerblader, Sam Jackenthal, the organization aims to help young athletes (and their parents and coaches) become better people. Since its inception, Live Like Sam has given more than $100,000 in scholarship opportunities to young athletes who have exhibited strong character and a commitment to the Live Like Sam guiding principles.
