Candace Heiken

Candace Heiken has a diverse work experience, starting from 1994 when they worked as a Tutor for herself. Candace then became a Teacher at St. Mary's High School from August 1996 to May 1998. In 2011, Candace founded Lively Minds Tutoring, providing private tutoring services in Colorado and Arizona for students in grades K-12. Recently, in January 2020, they became the Executive Director at Cerebrate, a role they took on while also serving as the Founder/CEO of Lively Minds Institute. Candace's institute focuses on executive function development, offering coaching for students, training for educators, support for parents, and an innovative curriculum for schools. With their experience in teaching and tutoring, Candace has built a successful career in education.

Candace Heiken earned a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from the University of Colorado Colorado Springs between 1993 and 1997. Candace later pursued a Master's degree in Elementary Education at the same university from 2010 to 2011.
