Sean Duffy has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Sean began their career as a Process Engineer at Union Carbide in 1995, where they worked for six years before joining Stepan Company as a Manufacturing Specialist, Maintenance Planner, First Line Supervisor, and Reliability Engineer. After working at Stepan Company for three years, they moved on to Bostik, Inc. as a Project/Process Engineer for four years. In 2008, Sean joined FMC Corporation as a Project Engineer before becoming a Lead Cost Estimator. Sean continued in the role of Lead Cost Estimator when they transitioned to Livent in 2018. Additionally, Sean was involved with AACE International as a Cost Estimator during their time at FMC Corporation. Overall, their work experience showcases a strong background in engineering, project management, and cost estimation.

Sean Duffy completed their education in a chronological order. Sean first attended the New Jersey Institute of Technology from 1990 to 1995, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering. Following this, they pursued their higher education at Rutgers University, starting in 1999 and ending in 2006. During this period, they earned both a Master of Science (MS) degree and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree.
