Sam Oliva

CEO at Liventus

Sam is the CEO and Co-Founder of Liventus, Inc. While serving as the CEO and Managing Partner of ECS Financial Services in 2002, Sam created Liventus to help serve the needs of ECS Financial and Beacon Funding. After seeing how valuable the services offered by Liventus were to those two companies, Sam decided to offer the company’s expertise to outside organizations who were looking to increase efficiency, enhance security, and drive productivity.

Sam holds the professional designations of CPA, CMA, and CLP. He earned his undergraduate degree in accounting from Western Illinois University in 1977 and later he earned an MBA from the University of Chicago in 1989. A few of his other achievements include: AOC Financial Executive of the Year in 2002, University of Illinois Entrepreneurship Hall of Fame inductee in 2007, Western Illinois University Distinguished Alumni in 2008, and Ten Outstanding Young Persons Award (TOYP) presented by the city of Osaka Japan in 1989.

Sam currently serves on the President’s advisory board at Western Illinois University. He previously served on the Board of Directors for Harris Bank Glencoe for 12 years and was also a director and officer of the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business Executive Board.

In addition to his role as the CEO at Liventus, Sam also heads several other successful companies, including ECS Financial Services, Beacon Funding, EmbroideryDesigns.com, SVGDesigns.com, Great Notions, Ann the Gran, and is the property owner of the Randolph Office Center – a state-of-the-art office, residential, and retail development in Chicago’s West Loop.
