Fareed Khan

Fareed Khan has a decade of experience as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) experience at multi-billion dollar, public and private global consumer goods companies. As Chief Operating and Financial Officer of Parallel, Fareed leads the majority of the Company's operations functions and finance group. He is responsible for cultivation, production, commercialization, corporate finance, investor relations, tax, and shared services activities.

Prior to joining Parallel in 2019, Fareed was CFO at the Kellogg Company where he drove the adoption of a new corporate strategy, which included revitalizing key brands through targeted investment and transforming the company’s portfolio through M&A. Prior to Kellogg, Fareed was CFO at US Foods where he led the successful IPO of the business following several years of top-line oriented business transformation. Fareed previously served as Division CEO of a multi-billion-dollar revenue operating unit at USG Corporation after 12 years of steady ascent through key operating roles at the company. Early in his career, Fareed was a management consultant at McKinsey & Company, where he advised global organizations in the industrial, electronics and life-sciences industries.
