Emran Mahbub

Emran Mahbub has a diverse range of work experience in the technology industry. Emran is currently working as a Staff Software Engineer at Livepeer since May 2022. Prior to that, they held the role of Senior Software Engineer at Tesla from November 2016 to April 2022. Emran also worked as a Hardware and Platform Engineer at hiku, an IoT kitchen assistant company, from September 2015 to November 2016. Before that, they co-founded Hover Labs in January 2014 and worked there until August 2015. Emran's career began at NVIDIA, where they served as a Senior Hardware Applications Engineer from June 2009 to December 2013. At NVIDIA, they were responsible for managing the technical execution of Go-To-Market strategies for consumer GeForce and cloud GRID products, as well as driving partner engagement and successful product launches through design reviews and resolution of technical challenges.

Emran Mahbub obtained a BASc in Electrical Engineering from the University of Waterloo, where they studied from 2004 to 2009. Following this, they pursued a Graduate Certificate in Electronic Circuits from Stanford University, which they completed in 2012.
