Qiang Han

VP, Engineering at Livepeer

Qiang Han is the current VP of Engineering at Livepeer. Prior to this, they were the Head of Software Engineering and product at HAI ROBOTICS from October 2020 to January 2022. There, they built a world-class software engineering team from the scratch 30+ to 240+ in 10 months and delivered 300+ Autonomous Robotic Warehouse projects worldwide, with 4 new product lines.

From May 2017 to July 2020, Qiang was the CEO and Founder of Echoo Lab, an AI and Blockchain EdTech company that uses decentralized and secured personal learning data to unleash learners' potential.

Before that, Qiang was the CTO of Machool Technologies Ltd. from February 2015 to July 2016 where they were responsible for product development e2e.

Qiang has also held the positions of VP of Engineering and Chief Architect at SAP from October 2008 to April 2016, Solution Lead and Architecture at IBM from June 2006 to September 2008, and Senior Java Developer at Oracle from January 2004 to December 2006.

Most recently, Qiang was the CTO of Peotic Technologies from October 2016 to February 2017.

Qiang began their career as a Software Consultant at Michael Smurfitt Business Graduate School, UCD from April 2003 to July 2003.

Qiang Han has a Ph.D. in Computer Science from University College Dublin, an M.Sc. in Computer Engineering from Jiangsu University, and a B.Sc. in Computer Engineering from Jiangsu University.

Qiang Han works with Shaykara Waajid - Head of People, Sarah Armstrong - VP, Operations & Finance, and Shannon Wells - Head of Growth. Their manager is Doug Petkanics, Co-Founder & CEO.
