Caroline Roberts

Caroline Roberts is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in partnership development and growth across various sectors. Currently serving as Head of Partnerships and Growth at Liverpool City Region Combined Authority since March 2025, Caroline previously held the position of Commercial Sales and Sponsorship Manager at Transport for Greater Manchester from February 2018 to March 2025. Caroline's career also includes significant roles at the National Union of Students (UK), where responsibilities included devising business development and sponsorship strategies, and at Guardian News & Media, focusing on media partnerships for the Manchester Evening News. Earlier experience includes working as a Sponsorship Consultant at Co-operative Financial Services, managing major football sponsorship initiatives. Caroline holds a Bachelor of Arts in Media Professional Studies from Liverpool John Moores University and completed A-Levels and GCSEs at Croham Hurst School for Girls.
