Martin Woosey

Martin Woosey is a seasoned professional in policing and security, currently serving as Safety Officer at Liverpool Football Club since March 2020. Previously, Martin held the position of Director at Crowdguard Ltd in 2019 and worked as a self-employed Policing and Security Consultant early that same year. Martin's extensive background includes serving as Superintendent Operations at the National Police Chiefs' Council from July 2014 to July 2018, where responsibilities included coordinating police responses to major national incidents. Martin also served as a Policing and Security Advisor for the America's Cup in 2016-2017, providing guidance to the Bermuda Police Service and Government. Prior experience with Merseyside Police from April 2009 to June 2014 involved operational responsibilities in uniform policing and planning across various departments. Martin completed education at Rainford High School between 1979 and 1984.
