Michael Yates

Michael Yates has extensive experience in football coaching, currently serving as the Liverpool FC Academy lead coach for the U14 team since April 2001. Prior roles at Liverpool Football Club include lead coach for the U10's to U12's and foundation coach for ages 6 to 9, as well as involvement in international academy development and operations. Yates has also contributed as a community co-ordinator and academy coach at Dundee Football Club from June 1999 to August 2001. Prior to coaching, Yates was a professional footballer at Liverpool Football Club from July 1996 to June 1999. Education was completed at St Bedes RC Ormskirk from 1991 to 1996.
