Greg O'Keeffe

Greg O'Keeffe is a seasoned journalist with extensive experience in sports writing and journalism. Currently serving as a football writer for The Athletic since August 2019, Greg also holds the position of Senior Journalist and writer at Liverpool Hope University, where responsibility includes leading the University's PR and external communications. Previous roles include broadcast journalist for BBC News and BBC Sport, alongside a long tenure at Liverpool Echo as Everton Editor, where Greg was instrumental in creating the successful Royal Blue Podcast. Educational background includes a BA in Journalism Studies from The University of Sheffield and attendance at St Edward's College.
