Sally Merriman

Sally Merriman is a legal professional with extensive experience in governance, risk, and legal practice. Currently serving as the Senior Officer for Legal, Governance & Risk at Liverpool Hope University since May 2022, Sally has previously held significant roles including Principal Lawyer at Wirral Council and Principal Associate Solicitor at Weightmans Solicitors. Additional experience includes positions as Senior Solicitor - Local Government at Sefton Council and Solicitor and COLP at Quality Solicitors Gregsons. Sally also contributed to legal education as a Senior Lecturer in Legal Practice at Liverpool John Moores University from June 2002 to December 2012. Sally holds a BSc in Philosophy, Law and Philosophy from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).
