Sarah Weir

Sarah Weir is an accomplished leader in student recruitment and widening participation, currently serving as the Head of Recruitment and Conversion at Liverpool Hope University since April 2017. In this role, Sarah oversees the university's recruitment strategy and manages a large team to achieve recruitment objectives through various initiatives, including stakeholder engagement and marketing activities. Previously, as a Student Recruitment Manager, Sarah implemented a data-driven schools liaison strategy to enhance brand awareness. Earlier experience includes serving as an Outreach Officer at the University of Derby, where Sarah fostered relationships with schools to support widening participation, and as a Learner Voice Coordinator at Southport College, focusing on student engagement through co-curricular activities. Sarah holds a Master of Social Change from The University of Manchester and a Bachelor of Business Management from Newcastle University.
