Steven Broomhead has extensive experience in leadership roles in both educational and governmental sectors. Currently serving as the Interim Chief Executive of Warrington Borough Council since January 2011, Steven is on a leave of absence from Liverpool Hope University, where Steven held the positions of Professor and Chief Director of Institutional Advancement. Previously, Steven was the Chief Executive of the North West Regional Development Agency from April 2003 to December 2010, overseeing a significant budget and staff while focusing on regional development. Steven also served as Chief Executive of Warrington Borough Council from 1997 to 2003 and was the Principal and Chief Executive of Warrington Collegiate Institute from 1994 to 1997, managing a large student body and a range of educational programs. Early career positions included Principal at a Tertiary college in Easington and Vice Principal at Skelmersdale College, marking a notable progression in the educational field.
